El dirigente oficialista Diosdado Cabello se mostró escandalizado por lo que calificó como represión desmedida de las protestas en Estados Unidos y se sumó «a esa petición de justicia en Estados Unidos» por la muerte de George Floyd.
«Imagínense que Nicolás hubiese dicho que iba a acabar con las manifestaciones a plomo» en Caracas, aseveró.
Hay «manifestaciones por todos lados» y hay «una desmedida represión ordenada a los más altos niveles» con «amenazas de sacar al ejército».
Criticó el Estado estadounidense, que a su juicio fomenta la exclusión. Es «un sistema terrible», insistió durante su programa Con el mazo dando.
